iOS 3.1 File Manager Issue - Beginner Question

Hi Everyone, I have a problem and I've tried to use Google to solve this but I must not be searching for the right thing. I recently got my hands on.

Files appear in MTP interface, but not in file manager or adb

So, I got my Galaxy Nexus for Christmas. Unlocked the bootloader and rooted it right away. Now I am trying to copy files from my old Droid 1's SD card.
